ClickBank Profit Club: What I’m Deliberately Not Doing

Everyone shares what they are doing. I think it’s just as useful to share what I’m deliberately not doing.

So here’s my not doing list for this week.

I’m not buying anything extra

The minute you show any interest in making money online, the offers come thick and fast: courses, tools, software, “bundles”.

Some of them might be fine. But right now, I don’t need them. I’m working through something and I want to see it through before I spend a penny on anything else.

If you’re a beginner, this is probably the single best money-saving tip I can give you. Finish one thing before you buy the next.

I’m not building a big funnel

I’ve done that before. I spent weeks building pages, writing email sequences and faffing with designs, and never got round to the bit where people actually saw it.

At this stage, I don’t need anything fancy. I need the basics working.

I’m not posting ten times a day

You’ll see people saying you need to be everywhere, all the time. Maybe that works for some people, but it doesn’t work for me. I’d burn out in a week.

I’d rather post a few things that are honest and useful than churn out content just to fill a gap.

I’m not trying to go viral

Going viral is lovely if it happens, but it’s not a plan. It’s a lottery ticket. It can work for some people, but for the majority it doesn’t, its usually just the people in your friends / family list that actually see it,

I’m not comparing myself to anyone

This is the hardest one. It’s very easy to see someone else’s screenshot and feel like you’re miles behind. But you don’t know how long they’ve been doing it, what they spent or what they’re not showing you.

Your pace is your pace.

You need to stop comparing your day 1 to someone else’s year 3 , its hard to do as I have done it myself and asked why am I not getting the results they are..

So what am I doing?

One thing: working through the ClickBank Profit Club at my own pace, in the time I’ve actually got.

This week, that’s meant going through the training step by step and building this blog,

That’s enough for now. Honestly, it’s more than I’d have done if I’d been trying to do everything at once.

Its something that I thought about for a while but didn’t know how to go about it, so thanks to John’s amazing training, it was easy to follow, and easy to for me to implement, no it didn’t happen overnight, I will be honest its taken me almost week to get the blog where I can make my first post.

But by taking things slowly at my own pace, I got there.

Why this matters for beginners

Most people who burn out in affiliate marketing aren’t lazy. They’re doing six things badly instead of one thing properly. They’re overwhelmed, tired and constantly starting again.

Doing less on purpose isn’t giving up. It’s how you actually get something finished.

For me personally, it takes time for me to understand something new, so by going over it and making notes helps me, as otherwise I would just get frustrated and want to pack it in, and look elsewhere,

So by taking the time to watch the training videos multiple times if necessary ( most of them are a few minutes long) so that the information is understood, then thats what I would recommend, as that way you actually progress.

A calm reset

If you’ve been feeling pulled in every direction, joining something free with a clear starting point is a sensible reset. It isn’t a big life-changing moment, just a calmer way of doing things.
