Today was one of those days……

I woke up red rash on my face, no it wasn’t measles it was just my Lupus deciding to have a flare up.. everything ached and just physically getting out of bed was a chore…

By the time I sat down, taken my tablets, done my injection, I had spent more than twenty minutes. That’s it.

Why short sessions used to go nowhere

A while ago, twenty minutes would have been wasted. I’d log into whatever course I was doing and spend five minutes trying to remember where I’d got up to. Then I’d rewatch the last video because I’d forgotten half of it, and get distracted by a notification. Then the time was up.

Sound familiar?

The problem wasn’t that I didn’t have enough time. It was that most of the time went on working out what to do, not doing it.

I think this is where a lot of beginners give up. They assume they need big blocks of time to get anywhere. Then, because they never get those big blocks, they decide affiliate marketing “isn’t for them”.

It’s not that. It’s usually a lack of structure.

What was different today

Inside the ClickBank Profit Club, I logged in and picked up where I left off.

There was a clear next step, so I didn’t have to think about it. I just did it.

Today I worked through the next section, watched a step by step video and made notes on what to do next ( so I could put them into action before I forgot what they were!)

It’s not dramatic and there was no big breakthrough. But I finished the twenty minutes knowing I’d moved forward, and that feeling matters more than people think.

How I make short sessions count

Here’s what I’ve learned about working in small pockets of time. None of it is clever, but it helps:

Write down your next step before you stop. Even one line, like next: look at product X. Future you will be grateful.

Keep one tab open, not ten. The minute I open other tabs, I’m gone.

Pick one task, not a to-do list. Twenty minutes is enough for one thing done properly.

Stop when the time’s up. Don’t feel guilty about it. Stopping on purpose is better than drifting off halfway.

Don’t try to catch up. If you miss a day, you don’t need to do double the next day. Just carry on.

A bit of honesty

Some days I won’t even get twenty minutes, and that’s fine. I’m not going to pretend I’m sat at my desk every morning with a coffee and a biscuit. Real life doesn’t work like that for most of us.

What I want is something that still works when life gets in the way. So far, this does.

If your time comes in odd little gaps

This is probably my main reason i’m sharing it. If you’re squeezing this around work, kids, caring for someone, or just being tired, you need things that work in short bursts. Something that needs a whole weekend to get started won’t suit you.
